Erika Honig grew up in northern Sweden and learned her unique handcraft of using pewter thread embroidery to make jewelry as a young girl. When Erika moved to California, she brought materials with her so she could make bracelets as a hobby and for gifts. Erika quickly noticed an interest in her jewelry and a curiosity for this handcraft and history. Erika started my own business 1996 and sold her jewelry to stores nationwide and exhibited regularly at art shows and festivals. Erika's jewelry keeps her connected to my roots back home and to fellow Scandinavians here in the USA.
Erika's jewelry is a combination of rustic Nordic handcraft and modern simplicity. It can be worn by both, men, women and children. "I put a lot of work and soul into each piece and hope customers will enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I do."
